Dairy products must be produced with maximum hygienic and sanitary conditions. Such practices must be performed at the very beginning of the process: into the udder of the cows.

Bovine udder inflammation caused by infectious agents, together with the infertility, is the most important problem of the dairy exploitations. Such situation generates economical losses, because milk production is decreased and in other cases milk can not be used by containing anti-infectious residues.

There is an increasing number of milk producers that are using aloe gel -in an external use- to wash and sanitize the udders of cows with several benefits.
