The aloe gel, also called inner fillet aloe juice, inner fillet aloe gel is a product obtained from the processing of the inner section of an aloe leaf, without the skin. This product normally contains less aloin than the whole leaf aloe. It is mostly used by the pharmaceutical, cosmetic, toiletry, health care, food and beverage industries.

The terms aloe gel or aloe juice or inner fillet aloe juice or inner fillet aloe gel are used in a same way for most companies. However, the product as it comes from the iner fillete is in fact a juice. To produce a gel other ingredients must to be added to obtain the final product known as aloe gel.
